The very things that adorn pine forests and trees in their natural habitat can also shine on our Christmas trees. Inspired by this idea, I designed Christmas tree ornaments featuring animals and plants found in their natural habitat in the pine forest; one important category of these is ornaments made from pine forest birds.
It started out as a Christmas tree ornament, but then I realized it can be used as a wreath decoration in any season, clipped onto a bouquet of flowers, or placed wherever our imagination takes us.
The birds, native to pine forests, measure approximately 10 x 5 cm; they are engraved, hand-painted, and varnished. They cling to pine branches or the wreath’s vines with their claws, making them easy to reposition.
This 3-piece set features birds found in our native pine forests: the Yellow-breasted Bunting—in a yellowish hue, the Red-breasted Flycatcher—in a reddish hue, and the Mountain Wren—in a bluish hue.
You can order either 3 different birds or 3 identical birds in a single package. You can specify in a message whether you want the birds to be facing right or left.
